The only types of gambling establishments allowed within the boundaries of Arizona are those operated on Native American land by Native American peoples. Horse racing and dog racing are permitted in Arizona as well, but the days that races can be conducted are restricted by law. Casinos cannot be operated for profit outside the boundaries of Native American reservations. Still there are quite a few fine casinos in Arizona situated in Camp Verde, Chandler, Fort McDowell, Fort Mohave, Laveen, Maricopa, Mesa, Mohave Valley, Parker, Payson, Pinetop, Prescott, Sahuarita, San Carlos, Scottsdale, Somerton, Tucson and Yuma.

In a state where the motto is “Freedom and Unity,” a Vermont resident should be able to find a land based casino where they can legally enjoy any gaming options they would like to try out. This, sadly is not the case. In “The Green Mountain State,” Gamblers cannot find a single land based gambling establishment because of present day Vermont laws. Penal code 13.2132 certainly makes allowances for weekly pari mutuel wagering on horse racing, but the wagering cannot be conducted on Sundays until the afternoon. Charities and nonprofit organizations can conduct lotteries if they desire to do so, and some sweepstakes can be legally offered in the state of Vermont. Gambling establishments offering casino gaming options however, are completely banned.

When it comes to locating a fine gambling establishment in the District of Columbia in the United States, gamblers will not readily find one available. According to the penal code 22.1701, gambling in the District of Columbia is heavily frowned upon. Games of chance are basically banned; horse betting is off limits, as is the act of wagering on dog racing too. There are no casinos that can be accessed either on land or in the waters surrounding the District of Columbia that offer gamblers access to table gaming, Roulette or slots devices because to do so is the break the law.

So, just how many casinos exist in the boundaries of Virginia where gambling hopefuls can get in on gambling offers? Unfortunately, the penal code 18.2.325 bans any and all gambling establishments offering casino gaming options. The only types of betting permitted in the state of Virginia are pari mutuel betting on horses. Greyhound racing is also not permitted in the state of Virginia. Social gambling endeavors are, however, legal in “The Old Dominion State.” The Virginia State motto is currently Sic semper tyrannis and translates as “Thus always to tyrants,” and it would seem that the Virginia gambling laws in existence today are quite tyrannical.

Connecticut has specifically and clearly defined laws associated with all gambling endeavors. The Penal code 12.577 legally allows for horse track betting on the double, quinella, trifecta, exacta, superfecta, pick four and six betting, and twin trifecta betting are all permitted in the state of Connecticut. There are also no bans placed upon off track wagering in horse or dog racing. Even out of state betting endeavors on horses and dog races are allowed by the liberal betting laws in Connecticut. There are myriad land based gambling establishments in the state of Connecticut too: these sites are controlled by Mohegan and Pequot Native American peoples. Bingo gaming is offered in gambling establishments for those game players that enjoy a good, fun, and exciting game of bingo.

In “The Equality State” otherwise known as Wyoming, all things are really not equal when it comes to gambling laws. There are a total of three casinos in the state, all of which are owned by Native American Tribes. If one is looking to enjoy a bit of black jack, some gaming machines, or a fun time with Bingo, than these three establishments will serve the gambler well. Otherwise, gambling hopefuls will be either required to venture to nearby states offering a bigger diversity in terms of gambling options or to turn to online pursuits for gambling endeavors.
